Removal And Installation: Removal
WARNING:
The heater core tubes are not serviced separately from the rear heater core. The heater core tubes should not be repositioned, loosened or removed from the rear heater core. Failure to follow this warning may result in a coolant leak and serious injury.
- Disassemble the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Rear (HVACR) housing to access the rear heater core. Refer to HOUSING, A/C AND HEATER, REAR, DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
- Carefully lift the rear heater core (2) out of the inboard half of the HVACR housing.
