Removal And Installation: Left: Installation

  1. Install the blend door actuator and bracket (3) on the HVAC housing by aligning the splines of the actuator with the splines of the blend door.
  2. Install the blend door actuator/CAM assembly mounting bolts (2). Tighten the bolts securely.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the blend door actuator.
  4. Install the left side floor distribution duct. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the driver side knee blocker air bag. Refer to AIR BAG, KNEE BLOCKER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Calibrate the A/C heater control. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
