Two temperature sensors are located on each side of the plenum at instrument panel and floor level. These sensors are used to maintain comfort settings based on outlet temperature being read.
This sensor signal is sent to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module and is used (along with other inputs) to adjust blend door positions under various temperature changes.
