The defroster outlet receives airflow from the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) housing through a molded plastic defroster duct that is integral to the underside of the instrument panel cover.

The defroster outlet is replaceable without removing the instrument panel cover. The defroster duct is an integral part of the instrument panel cover and is not serviced separately. If replacement of the defroster duct is needed. Refer to COVER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
