Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the battery tray. Refer to TRAY, BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  6. Carefully position a floor jack under transmission to support the transmission.

  7. Remove the transmission mount brace bolts (3).
  8. Remove the three transmission mount to transmission mount bracket bolts (1).
  9. Remove the transmission mount to frame bolts (2) and then the left transmission mount.

  10. If necessary, remove the bolts (1) and wire harness bracket from the left transmission mount bracket.

  11. If necessary, remove the bolts (1) and the left transmission mount bracket.
