Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the left quarter vacuum door panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Disconnect the vacuum cleaner motor wiring harness connection (1).
- Release (3) the vacuum hose from the vacuum cleaner.
- Remove four screws (1, 2) securing the vacuum bracket with vacuum to the vehicle.
- When removing the vacuum cleaner from the vehicle, the vacuum cleaner housing must clear a stud (1) located at the bottom front center of the assembly. Lift the unit up and over the stud.
