Removal And Installation: Fwd: Removal

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the front crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, FRONT SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Disconnect the outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle.

Remove the lower stabilizer bar link mounting fasteners (3) from the stabilizer bar.

Remove the stabilizer bar bracket fasteners (2).
Remove the stabilizer bar brackets.
Separate the stabilizer bar (1) from the front crossmember:
Inspect the bushings and brackets for wear or damage.
