Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor wire harness retainers (3) from the strut.

  4. Remove the brake hose bracket to strut mounting bolt (2).
  5. Remove the stabilizer bar link mounting nut (3) from the strut.
  6. Remove the strut-to-knuckle mounting bolts (1).
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Remove the cowl panel. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  9. Remove the strut-to-strut tower mounting nuts (1).
  10. Remove the strut assembly from the vehicle.
