Removal And Installation: Removal
NOTE:
The procedure for the front door body side molding (1) and the sliding door body side molding (2) are the same.
- As a guide for installation, apply a length of masking tape on the body side, parallel to the top edge.
- Warm the effected adhesive type molding and body metal to approximately 38°C (100°F) using a suitable heat lamp or heat gun.
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick), carefully separate the body side molding from the body panel.
- Pull the body side molding from the body panel.
