Removal And Installation: Removal

Remove the steering column lower shroud. Refer to SHROUD, STEERING COLUMN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the screw located in the media hub bezel opening (3).
Open the bin (2) and using a trim stick remove the media hub bezel (3) and set aside.
Remove the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the start stop switch (2).
Using a trim stick disengage the left side of the instrument panel center trim piece (1) to gain clearance to remove the gap hider.
Disengage the retaining clips from the gap hider (3) to the instrument panel, and remove.
