- Remove the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .NOTE:
The liftgate latch is removed for clarity, but not necessary.
- Remove the two nuts (2) and remove the liftgate handle (1).
- Pull the liftgate handle out and disconnect the wire harness connector.
