Removal And Installation: Removal

Move the front seat to the full forward position.
Spread the bottom of the B-pillar extension (1), then pull out to release the retaining clips and remove.
NOTE:
Disconnect the front seat position switch, if equipped.
Move the seat belt height adjuster to the lowest position.
Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove the bolt cover then the seat belt turning loop bolt.

Using a small flat bladed tool, remove the bolt covers then the grab handle bolts (1).

Pull at the bottom (2) of the upper B-pillar trim panel (3) to release the retaining clips, then lower it to remove the upper tabs (1) from the body.
NOTE:
Disconnect the power door switch, if equipped.
