Move the front glass into the full closed position.
Open the sunshade into the full open position.
Separate the mechanism cover (1) from the front glass.
NOTE:
The mechanism cover snaps into the frame. It cannot be removed

Hold the mechanism covers down and open the front glass into the full open position.
Using scissors, cut the mechanism cover (1) along the entire length at the lowest fold.
Close the sunroof glass.
Slide the mechanism cover out the REAR of the frame. As you slide it out the end of the frame, bend it inboard and remove.
