Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the effected third row power folding seat. Refer to SEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the seat cushion and cover assembly. Refer to COVER, SEAT CUSHION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Disengage the actuator cable from the actuator (1).
  5. Disconnect the actuator assembly wire harness connector.

  6. Remove the screw (2) securing the head rest actuator to the actuator bracket.
  7. Pinch the actuator to actuator bracket hold down retainer (1) to release and remove the actuator from the vehicle.
