Removal And Installation - PACIFICA

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (2).
4. Remove the fasteners (1).

5. Using a trim tool, remove the lamp bar (2).

INSTALLATION

1. Position the lamp bar (2) onto the liftgate and seat fully.

2. Connect the wire harness connectors (2).
3. Install the fasteners (1) and tighten securely.
4. Install the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
