Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the hood latch (2) and loosely install the fasteners (1).
- Align the hood latch with the reference mark made previously and tighten the hood latch fasteners to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the hood latch release cable (1) into the hood latch (2).
- Verify proper hood latch operation and fit of hood. Adjust if necessary. Refer to GAP AND FLUSH DIMENSIONS

- Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the hood latch (2).
- Install the front end module closeout panel (1) and the retaining pins (2).
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
