Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Observe all warnings for seat belt retractor removal and installation. Refer to RETRACTOR, SEAT BELT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

If necessary, install the D-pillar extension (1) and the screw (2). Tighten the screw securely.
Install the curtain airbag push-fastener and the rear duct tube.

If necessary, install the C-pillar extension (1), then the coat hook (2). Tighten screw (3) securely.

Route the seat belt through the D-pillar trim panel (2).
Install the airbag tether to the backside of the D-pillar trim panel.
If servicing the left side D-pillar, connect the liftgate switch.
Install the front edge of the D-pillar trim panel to the body.
Engage the bottom of the D-pillar trim panel into the quarter trim panel.
Engage the retaining clips at the rear and top of the D-pillar trim panel.
NOTE:
Make sure the D-pillar trim panel engages into the weatherstrip properly.
Install the fastener and tighten securely, then install the fastener cover (1).
Install the lower seat belt anchor. Refer to RETRACTOR, SEAT BELT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
