Removal And Installation: Front: Front

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the trim panel from the inside of the front door. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from (1) each of the front door control module (2) connector receptacles.

  4. Remove the two screws (1) that secure the module to the front door hardware module carrier.
  5. Remove the front door control module from the carrier.


  1. Position the front door control module to the front door hardware module carrier.

  2. Install and tighten the two screws (1) that secure the front door control module to the carrier. Tighten the screws securely.

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to each of the front door control module (2) connector receptacles.
  4. Install the trim panel onto the inside of the front door. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the battery negative cable.
  6. Perform the door module learn procedure. Refer to DOOR MODULE LEARN PROCEDURES .
