Side Camera: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the appropriate side mirror glass. Refer to MIRROR, OUTSIDE REARVIEW, GLASS, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove mirror housing fasteners (1).
  4. Remove the lower surround view camera retaining bolt (2).

  5. Remove the upper mirror shell (1) to remove the mirror blinker lamp (2).

  6. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the surround view mirror.
  7. Remove the surround view camera from the mirror housing (1).
