Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, create a Vehicle Scan Report and attach it to the repair order.
- With the scan tool, record any Power Sliding Door Inhibitors.
- Erase the DTCs.
- Attempt to operate the Right Power Sliding Door.
- With the scan tool, read the DMRR DTCs.
Is DTC B2500-01 POWER SLIDING DOOR LATCH-GENERAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE set?
Yes - the DTC is Active
- Perform the diagnostic test for DTC B2500-01 POWER SLIDING DOOR LATCH-GENERAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE.
No - the DTC is set but not Active
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
No - the DTC is not set
- Go To 2
- CHECK THE STATUS OF THIS DTC
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK THE RIGHT POWER SLIDING DOOR LATCH OPERATION
- Thoroughly inspect both the front and rear Right Power Sliding Door Latches for any causes or signs of mechanical failure/damage.
Does either Power Sliding Door Latch have any mechanical failure/damage?
Yes
- Replace the Right Power Sliding Door Latch or Latches in accordance with Service Information. Refer to LATCH, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or LATCH, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
No
- Replace the Right Rear Door Module in accordance with Service Information. Refer to REAR .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- Test complete.
- Thoroughly inspect both the front and rear Right Power Sliding Door Latches for any causes or signs of mechanical failure/damage.
