Front Impact Severity Sensor: Installation

NOTE: Make sure the front impact severity sensor mating surfaces are clean and free of foreign material.

Position the front impact severity sensor, install the front impact severity sensor bolt and connect the front impact severity sensor electrical connector.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

For LH side, install the ACL. REFER to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .

NOTE: When installing the LH CAC tube, align the index marks made during removal.

For the RH side and vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine.

Repower the SRS. Refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering - With Intelligent Access (IA) or Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering - Without Intelligent Access (IA) .
