Seat Backrest Cover - Manual: Removal

NOTE: For component identification and locations, Refer to Seat - Exploded View .

NOTE: To remove the RH third row seat backrest trim cover, the LH seat outboard pivot cover must be removed before the RH seat outboard pivot cover can be removed.

1.

Pry to release the clips and remove the LH seat outboard pivot cover.

2.

If removing RH backrest cover, pry to release the clips and remove the RH seat outboard pivot cover.

3.

Release the backrest cover upper J-clip under the head restraint.

4.

Release the backrest trim cover lower J-strip, open the trim cover and release the inner J-clips.

5.

Remove the pivot bolt.

6.

Invert the backrest trim cover and remove 3 rows of 3 hog rings.

7.

Remove the backrest trim cover.
- Pull the strap through the trim cover.
