Power-Fold Seat Motor: Removal
NOTE:
For component identification and locations, Refer to Seat - Exploded View .
- 1.
Remove the quarter trim panel on the side of the affected power-fold seat motor. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation - Without Inflatable Safety Belts or REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation - With Inflatable Safety Belts. .
- 3.
Release the backrest cover lower J-clip, open the trim cover and separate the inner hook-and-loop strips.
- 4.
Remove the power-fold seat motor with backrest latch in the following sequence.- Roll the backrest cover up.
- Remove the screw retaining the latch inboard cover to the latch.
- Detach the head restraint release cable and conduit from the latch.
- Remove the 2 backrest latch-to-backrest frame bolts.
- Remove the 2 backrest latch-to-cushion frame bolts
- Disconnect the power-fold seat motor.
