Removal And Installation - Rear Driveline Module - Rear
REMOVAL
- Remove the rear driveline module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.NOTE:
Prior to using special tools, lubricate Pressing Tool (special tool #2026900170, Kit, Pressing Tool) (E) threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.
- Assemble tools over isolator crossmember assembly as shown:
- Driver, rear driveline module rear bushing - removal: 2074215130
- Receiver, rear driveline module rear bushing - removal: 2074216130
- (special tool #2026900170, Kit, Pressing Tool)
- Tighten Pressing Tool (A), pressing bushing out of crossmember and remove all tools.
INSTALLATION
- Position the isolator (1) onto the crossmember and assemble tools over isolator crossmember assembly as shown:NOTE:
A mixture of soap and water may be used to aid installation of the isolator.
NOTE:Prior to using special tools, lubricate Pressing Tool assembly (special tool #2026900170, Kit, Pressing Tool) (1) threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.
- Receiver, rear driveline module rear bushing - installation: 2074213130
- Driver, rear driveline module rear bushing - installation: 2074214130
- (special tool #2026900170, Kit, Pressing Tool)
- Tighten the Pressing Tool (A) screw-drive, pressing the isolator (1) into the crossmember.
- Install the isolator until the flange contacts the surface of the crossmember (1).
- Remove the tools.
- Install the rear driveline module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
